First of all, Merry Christmas to you guys because I didn't get the opportuny to wish you a Merry Christmas last week! I hope that you all had a wonderful day and that you were surrounded with all your loved ones.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know that I spent Christmas in my favourite city in France - and when I think about it, it might be my favourite city ever too... and it's Bordeaux! I went to visit my family there for a week. I've always loved this place, I've never actually lived there but I used to go there at least twice a year as a child and stay for a few weeks each time, so Bordeaux really feels like home now.

I particularly love this time of the year in Bordeaux, with all the Christmas lights and decoration in the city... It's just so pretty. I took lots of pictures to show you guys so stay tuned for a post coming in the next few weeks! Where did you spend Christmas this year?

And now, I can finally wish you a...

Happy New Year!

2016 flew by so quickly, it's unbelievable. 2016 wasn't perfect in any way but it was honestly one of the best years of my life. 2016 is the year I started my blog - I thought I wouldn't last long and eventually run out of ideas but here I am, wishing you a happy new year 7 months later and I couldn't be happier. Having and maintaining a blog (as well as all the social media platforms) isn't easy and I learned that this year too - it's so much work, way more than people imagine - but it's so rewarding and I love having my little creative space on the internet!

2016 is also the year I left France for quite a long time (1 month is a long time guys!) to live in another country, Spain. I've always really liked Spain and the Spanish language, but ever since I lived there I've been OBSESSED with the country and its people. I think I'm evenn turning Spanish sometimes, having a little siesta here and there when I'm tired ha!

2016 is the year I finally went on my first ever solo trip... I was a little nervous to be on my own at first but everything went fine and I can't wait to do it again!

2017, I'm so ready for you

2016 was great, but I'm sure 2017 can be even better. (I believe in you 2017, please be kind to us all!)

This year, I'm going to graduate with a Bachelor degree! Those three years of hard work will finally pay off. I really want to do a Master's degree but I don't know yet if I'll start it right after graduating or if I'll take a gap year and travel... I think I could do with a year off on the road! If any of you guys took a year off, I'd love some advice.

Speaking of travelling, I have some VERY exciting things planned. One of them being that I'm going to leave France again for a few months, not for Spain this time... But for another country that I'm going to keep as a secret for now! I'll live there for a while and it's very very very exciting and I absolutely can't wait.

In 2017, I'll continue to post every Sunday on the blog. It worked really well for me so far and I haven't missed a single Sunday (yet) so... see you here next Sunday! Xx

What are your goals for 2017? Do you have any trips planned already?
