A few months ago, I experienced Spain like a local and lived in the beautiful city of Valencia for a month. And it definitely was one of the best months of my life. I had my own apartment that I shared with my best friend, I tried local food, ate at the best restaurants in town, grocery shopped like a boss (read: How Much I Spent For A Month In Valencia), met amazing people, visited many art museums, and improved my Spanish skills aka I realised I actually understood more Spanish than I thought! Yay!

During this trip, I decided I would take some quick videos of my time there every day and then edit them into a single video once home. Why? There's a reason for that. When I was fourteen, I went to Salamanca, Spain for a week with my school. And I have absolutely no memories of that trip. None. Zero. The only pictures I took were silly ones of my classmates. I guess when you're fourteen you don't really care about where you are/where you're going and you just want to have fun with your friends... Still. I regret not taking more pictures or videos because today I don't remember what I saw, ate, and did in Salamanca.

So I didn't want to make the same mistake this time. Here are the highlights of my trip to Valencia, and I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed recording and editing it!

1 Month In Valencia, Spain

Watching it makes me feel like I never really left... I love how videos can bring back such great memories.
